Commercial Jet Engine Components

AMI is a leading producer of tubular weldments and related components for commercial engines. We excel at producing units on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, that is based on forecasted demand. With LTAs, AMI will produce to an expected volume and ship on requirements.

Over the years, AMI has been relied upon for all levels and types of tubular weldments. With bend dies and weld fixtures, AMI is able to reduce weld seams on complex patterns and provide inspection approved parts on schedule.

Engine and Turbo Mounts

AMI is one of the leading manufacturers of aviation approved engine and turbo mounts. Over the years, we have produced more than 10,000 unique mounts, so we have the experience and capabilities to handle almost every engine and turbo mount.

We work especially well with new design concepts. Our engineering and prototype team are able to provide first iteration mounts all the way through full production demand.

UAV Components

As UAV’s become a larger fixture in our defense and commercial markets, AMI has worked with some of the leading companies to produce a variety of components used in UAVs. Our experience and capabilities allow us to work with new designs and work through to LTA’s on production components.

Exhaust and Mufflers for Piston Aircraft

One of the more complex components on many piston aircraft is the exhaust system. The ability to balance durability, strength, and performance is one of the hallmark benchmarks of AMI. Together with our sister company, we have built over 100,000 new and repaired over 100,000 exhaust/systems over the past 25 years.

We are specialists in taking new designs and producing exhaust systems that work better than expected and delivered on time.

Assembled Components for OEM Aircraft

AMI has the experienced staff to assemble a variety of aviation components, utilizing all forms of sheet metal, rivets, spot welding and welded components. These sub-assemblies can significantly impact the time and cost of a full assembly or aircraft.

DoD Components and Assemblies

AMI is an ITAR registered company and is a Tier II and Tier III defense contractor on a variety of metal components, primarily welded or tubular. We have experience working on legacy parts and also new OEM components for engines and airframes.

Non-aviation components

AMI also has the ability to produce non-aviation components for commercial applications. We have a number of customers who rely on AMI quality and efficiencies to produce high value and critical components for a variety of uses.
