Aerospace Manufacturing, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “AMI”) warrant their new aircraft components against workmanship defects under conditions of ordinary use and service for a period of one year. This warranty begins at the time of sale.
This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been installed improperly subject to misuse and neglect or has been damaged by an accident or other means or to any product which has been altered, mutilated, or repaired outside the authority granted by AMI. This warranty is transferable and valid on the originally installed aircraft only. AMI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE BEYOND THE WARRANTIES MENTIONED ABOVE.
Any part that is under consideration of warranty must be returned to AMI’s Minnesota facility. AMI shall be the sole judge of defects in return of products. No products shall be returned to AMI without a written statement thoroughly describing the nature of the warranty issue. All warranty returned items must be shipped via an Approved AMI carrier using AMI’s shipping account number or no warranty consideration will be allowed for the shipping expenses. AMI will not be responsible for any labor time involved in the installation or removal of the part under warranty consideration.
